Kundalini Yoga & Meditation
Suitable for everyone, from beginner to advanced.
Always a transformational yoga & meditation class focused on a
healing theme. Please see "What is Kundalini Yoga?" for more information.
Intro to Kundalini Yoga
Think
of it as 'Kundalini Yoga & Meditation Light'. Same great
transformational class, only we go a bit easier on you. Topics covered
include pranayam, basic postures, mantra, meditation, yogic terms and
yogic lifestyle tips. Suitable for beginners and students of any
level who wish to refresh their memory with the basics of Kundalini
Yoga.
Naam Yoga & Meditation
Naam Yoga is the practice of opening the heart, increasing
intuition, and stimulating self-healing of the body and mind. Naam Yoga
brings together many of the world's oldest and finest traditions. Yoga,
meaning to yoke or to bind, is a system of uniting one's individual
consciousness with Universal consciousness. Naam Yoga is a unique
culmination of ancient eastern technologies, such as Kundalini yoga and
Chinese medicine, along with Divine Spiritual Wisdom of the west, which
helps to understand and work with the laws of the universe.
Your Naam Yoga practice will cultivate the fearlessness to face
negativity and transmute it into positivity for yourself, others and
the situations that you face.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Yoga means to yoke, or to unite, mind, body, & Spirit. Vinyasa yoga is an interlinking of yoga postures, inspired and connected in conscious breathing. Practicing
in this way creates internal awareness and heat, opening and clearing
our internal pathways (nadis) for increased energy (prana) to flow,
bringing our bodies increased flexibility & strength and our minds
& Spirits into a harmonious state of well~being, balance and Grace.
This heart~centered class weaves together deep relaxation, meditation
(dhyana), breath awareness/extension (pranayama), posture (asana) flow
and simple mantra practice. Any level of sincere student is welcome, as well as all questions and humor!
Recovery Rising Yoga
Insanity- “Doing the same thing over and over expecting different results.”
Recovery- “The act of regaining or saving something lost. Returning to an original state.”
There are people everyday working on recovery in the following areas:
low self-esteem, eating disorders, addictions, co-dependent
relationships, anxiety, alcoholism, and inner child wounding.
In Recovery Rising we use Kundalini Yoga and Meditation to address the
physiological and energetic imbalances that keep one in a state of
addiction, low self esteem, obsessive compulsive tendencies, shame,
blame, inner anger, and a lack of self-love. We utilize self-esteem
building techniques, inner child therapy, positive affirmations, free
form dance, journaling, drawing, group support and guest speakers in
conjunction. Kundalini Yoga and Meditation to assist you in the recovery
of all parts of self.
Our original state is -'I AM.' This is our true essence at birth; who we
are before any objects are acquired, any roles we chose to play, or
labels we took on from others or ourselves. 'I AM' is a state of pure
be-ing and truth. When we experience our 'I AM~ness' we are accepting
every part of ourselves as okay, and we no longer have to resort to outside influences to feel better. This is the goal of Recovery Rising.

Prenatal Yoga
Prenatal yoga relaxes, strengthens, and stretches the body,
increasing your bond with your unborn baby while giving you the courage
to embrace childbirth and motherhood. Each class incorporates an
intimate educational discussion assisted by Bethany and visiting
experts (midwives, doulas, infant massage therapist, etc).
Topics include: • Creating your birth plan • Nutrition during pregnancy • Natural vs. medicated childbirth
• Signs of premature labor • Breastfeeding and postpartum care • Infant massage
Postnatal 'Mommy & Me' Yoga
For mommies and babies, 6 weeks to 1 year old. Many
new mothers complain about their post-baby body (and belly!). Postnatal
yoga focuses on rebuilding core strength, retraining the abdominal
muscles, as well as strengthening your lower back and pelvic floor. In
addition, Mommy and Me exercises increase the spiritual, emotional and
physical bond between momma and baby.

Create Radiance Yoga
An experiential yoga which syncronizes the body and the mind to release physical tension, mental stress and emotional
resistance in order to claim space and freedom in the present moment and release deep holding patterns. The principles are
based on a combination of yoga, pilates, Feldenkrais, gyrotonics and mindfulness meditation, and the practice will create space
and freedom in the body to flow from a place of grace and ease. Create Radiance Yoga is deeply grounding and focuses on
aligning the pelvic floor and core muscles and the bones of the body to support optimum alignment and radiant health. This
class is recommended for women with sexual or hormonal health concerns as well as is designed to improve body image.
All levels of yoga experience are welcome.

Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is a simple, meditative practice which
focuses on maintaining postures for extended periods to open up deep and
tense areas in the connective tissues, joints, bones and ligaments. A
yin class is a wonderful balance to a regular yoga practice and also to
help soothe stress. The practice of yin yoga unravels deep physical and
emotional holding patterns to make a great and lasting connection with
the body and mind. By working through the deeper yin tissues in the
body, you are able to experience new depths in postures, deeper ranges
of motion, and an increased flow of energy in your life and yoga
practice. No prior yoga experience necessary.
Restorative Yoga
A conscious relaxation for the body and mind, restorative yoga is a
deeply rejuvenating practice designed to restore the nervous system to
support optimum energy and balance. This class utilizes props to support
the body to release naturally without effort and teaches how to fully
invite the body into the present moment through stillness and breath
awareness. Restorative yoga is an excellent practice to help overcome
insomnia, weight issues, depression, anxiety, and mental and physical
stress. No prior yoga experience necessary.
Gentle Kundalini Yoga
Taught by Board Certified Medical Doctor, Stephanie Mouton~Reed, this
gentle class is designed to start from YOUR existing level of
flexibility. We work with breath, physical co-ordination, managing and
reducing stress, managing and reducing pain, increasing circulation and
digestion, reconnecting and strengthening the nervous system, clearing
the mind, and empowering the overall being! Very similar to the other Kundalini Yoga classes, much less intense. Stephanie brings a wealth of knowledge into her classes from her medical background and her current holistic medical practice.
VOGA
Voga is a VOice Lesson + a yoGA Class
This class focuses on specific
breathing exercises, simple stretching, a Kundalini Yoga set, physical vocal warm up and some very basic vocal
exercises. It is designed for artists, singers, yogis and anyone who wants to strengthen their singing voice and connect more deeply with their creative voice. This class will focus on specific breathing exercises, simple stretching, a Kundalini Yoga set, physical vocal warm up and some very basic vocal exercises. It is a unique opportunity to connect with your true voice and experience creative freedom! Learn and understand breathing techniques, increase vocal resonance, expand vocal range, connect with your unique voice and powerful presence on stage and learn how to properly use your singing voice and prevent injury. All levels are welcome! You
do not need to be a singer or performer to experience the benefits of
this practice!

This class is designed to balance what children naturally bring; pure presence, joy, spontaneity, playfulness and curiosity,
with an invitation and encouragement to breathe and move with awareness and focus. Instruction and structure are presented and mixed into the creative process of each individual, and the whole group. Together we ride the waves of slowing down, getting grounded and still, listening, flowing into the organic quickening of posture flows, and making sounds and shapes that enliven and unify our bodies, minds and spirits. Each class will end with relaxation and gratitude practice.

The Oneness Blessing (Deeksha) is offered by Roxana Imam and is considered a non-denominational experience that awakens our connection with the oneness in everything, allowing each of us to deepen our relationship with those we love, with ourselves, with strangers and with our creator.
The Oneness Blessing is also found to help in the healing of the body and in the discharge of repetitive emotional patterns, resulting in greater ease and comfort with oneself. In relationships it enables a greater sensitivity and connectedness with the other, freeing you from the limitations of your judgments and conditioning. Success and prosperity begins with consciousness – a capacity to expand your horizon of thinking and an understanding of the universe around you, the principles governing you.
It has often been said that if you take one step towards God, then God will take a hundred steps towards you. We have so many ways to take a step towards the divine: prayer, meditation, chanting — in fact every kind of spiritual practice in every tradition.
The Oneness Blessing is one way that the divine can reach out to mankind; it is a gift, a benediction of grace.
